K. Kurtovich is a company based in New Zealand who designed and manufactured fashion stationery. I was fortunate enough to be given a chance to join their design team. In order for me to receive the position as a part-time Junior Graphic Designer, I was asked to create artwork for the Kid's Brite selection for Warehouse Stationery which was to compete against the collection of a up-and-coming store Squiggle. I also set up calendars for the Christmas collection, as well as setting up artwork to be ready for production.

I graduated in 2009 with a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design. Since then I have been designing wedding, birthday and baby shower invitations and event posters.

Focusing on Photoshop, inDesign, and Illustrator, I was able to design a 2 page newspaper, a black and white poster complimented with a ticket and program sheet, 12+page magazine, 10+page children's book, a media pack containing a CD, DVD and book cover as well as creating packaging. I enjoyed collaborating with fellow students to present a faux high end cafe. I was responsible in designing the marketing aspect of the project creating a mailer with a marketing gimmick.
